Privacy Policy
PlugVoltage is a lightweight travel-power checker. We do not run accounts, payments, or newsletters; we use limited technical and analytics data to keep the site useful and reliable.
Analytics we use
PlugVoltage uses Vercel Analytics for cookieless usage and performance measurement. The Google tag loads with Consent Mode and analytics storage denied. While denied, analytics cookies are not read or written; accepting grants analytics storage. Plausible may also be used if it is enabled for this site.
Technical data
Analytics and hosting systems may process technical information such as device type, browser, language, approximate location, visited pages, category-level interaction events, referrers, and technical logs.
Contact form
If you contact us, the form sends your name, email, message, Turnstile verification token, and the current page path to our contact-form endpoint so we can reply and reduce spam. We do not send the full URL query string.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical signals required to provide the challenge and verify the submission.
Local storage
We use localStorage for optional device-side features such as saved trip kits (`plugvoltage-trip-kit`) and analytics consent (`plugvoltage:analytics-consent:v1`). These values stay in your browser unless you clear them.
How we use it
We use this information for analytics, security, UX improvements, performance monitoring, quality checks, spam prevention, and site stability.
What we do not collect
The checker does not require an account, payment details, email address, or newsletter signup. Do not enter private medical or identity information into free-text fields.
Third-party processing
Google LLC may receive consent-state and cookieless technical signals while analytics storage is denied; analytics storage is granted only after consent. Vercel Analytics and hosting data is processed by Vercel. Turnstile verification is processed by Cloudflare. Their services may apply their own privacy terms.
